Brett Whitelely Travelling Art Scholarship
The Brett Whiteley Studio, administered by the Art Gallery of New South Wales, invites applications for a major travelling art scholarship. The Scholarship is awarded to a talented young artist with an established body of work, who is best able to demonstrate the use and benefit of the scholarship to further his/her art education in Europe.

International Visual Arts Scholarships

Each scholarship is intended to cover the reasonable costs for a period of twelve months overseas, and includes a tax-exempt stipend equivalent to US$37,000 (United States dollars), plus return airfares and institutional fees for one academic year.

NSW Artists' Grant
The NSW Artists' Grant has been initiated by NAVA to assist professional visual arts, craft and design practitioners in NSW to effectively produce, present and promote their work throughout NSW, interstate and overseas. These funds are to assist directly with the costs associated with the development and implementation of a project plan and strategies.
Amounts available are: $1250 + GST for individuals and $2500 + GST for groups

Australia Council for the Arts
Visual Arts - New work grants support the creation of new work by emerging and established craftspeople, designers, media artists, visual artists and arts writers.
Fellowship grants - provide extended support to craftspeople, designers, media artists and visual artists of outstanding ability to enable them to realise ambitious projects and develop their practice to new levels of achievement.

ANAT Professional Development Travel Grant
The Professional Development Travel Grant is a quick response fund managed by the Australian Network for Art & Technology. Closes last day of each month (no funding round December).

Australian Visual Artists’ Benevolent Fund
This fund provides limited financial assistance to visual arts practitioners faced with financial difficulty as a result of serious illness, accident or some other unexpected catastrophe. It is not intended that the fund should be used merely as a means of coping with financial hardship. Applications are ongoing.

Georges Mora Fellowship
